Hand Block Printing
The oldest method of textile printing, Block Printing includes dipping engraved wooden blocks in dye and impressing them onto the fabric. It is practiced in several regions of India, primarily in Rajasthan. We use discharge and pigment hand block printing for our products to create intricate patterns inspired by nature or traditional Indian motifs.
Embroidery
In Embroidery, the fabric is embellished with beautiful patterns using colorful threads and needles, and sometimes, pearls, beads, sequins, etc. Our creations showcase a variety of embroidered designs made using hand embroidery, manual machine embroidery, and patchwork embroidery. A vital part of India’s culture and heritage, this craft dates back to the Indus Valley civilisation.
Jewellery Making
Every piece of jewellery that we offer is made by hand, using hand casting, meenakari and lac. Rajasthan is one of the major producers of hand-made jewellery made through these techniques.
Hand Casting
The traditional technique of Hand Casting involves pouring molten metal into a wax mould to create jewellery pieces. After the metal pieces are cooled, they are polished, sanded and, sometimes, set with stones.
Meenakari
Meenakari jewellery-making is a traditional technique in which graceful designs are engraved and painted on metal pieces using enamel. The motley array of colours used is rich and vibrant, resulting in bold and stunning ornaments.
Lac
Lac is a natural resin that is melted, pigmented, and moulded by hand into beautiful pieces of jewellery. The traditional craft of lac jewellery-making originated in Rajasthan. It involves natural materials and intricate patterns to create versatile designs.
