Description

Hand embroidered in chain stitch—locally known as aari embroidery in Uttar Pradesh—the Palash Vest is crafted on sturdy cotton twill. Motifs of mango, mango trees, and Saras cranes lend a narrative richness to the design, while blanket stitch detailing along the neck, armholes, and hem adds artisanal finesse. The vest is cut short with a close-to-body fit, and finished with a hand block-printed checkered lining that adds a hidden layer of craft.

Fabrics are adorned with chikankari-inspired prints and intricate chikankari embroidery, while aari hand embroidery and hand block printing add depth and artisanal richness.
